ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I dress for a massage?
If
one has a seated massage no clothing needs to be removed
as no oils are used.
It is best to wear a cotton polo shirt or similar. Satin
and silk slip and may cause skin irritation.
For
table massage using oils the client undresses only to
expose the body part that is being massaged. Towels are
used to drape the client so that decency is preserved
at all times.
Are there side effects from having massage?
After
having a massage one must drink water in order to flush
the lymphatic system. Headache and/or vomiting may occur
if this is not done. One to two days after receiving massage,
stiffness or soreness may occur if the massage has been
deep tissue or similar.
